Steve Davis denies receiving transfer fee

FIFA Player Agent Steve Davis has denied reports that he has received the transfer fee of former LPRC Oilers player James Koko Lomell.

Mr. Davis told Star Radio that his activities were only limited to the transfer of the player.

He said the issue of transfer fee should be discussed between Lomell’s new club FC AK of South Africa and Oilers.


Mr. Davis’ clarification comes in the wake of media reports that he was refusing to give Oilers a share of the transfer fee.

A local daily quoted Oilers Sports Association President Geraldine Sheriff as saying that Mr. Davis was refusing to discuss the matter with the club.

But the FIFA Player Agent said he has not met with any Oilers official on the matter.

Steve Davis told Star Radio he would abandon plans to negotiate on Oilers’ behave for the player’s transfer fee.
