Stakeholders
Condemn Bility!
-For LFA
Presidency
Concerned Stakeholders of the Liberia Football
Association (LFA) have condemned the candidacy of the so-called
businessman Musa Hasan Bility, Chairman of the National Mandingo
Caucus.
According to a release issued yesterday, the
group said they would rather elect Cllr. Sombo Izetta Wesley , a
daughter of Maryland County, who has the eternity, maturity and
contacts, for a second term rather than Mr. Bility of Nimba County.
They said it will be foolhardy for electorates to
vote a man who has done nothing to improve the game of football.
They argued that Mr. Bility does not have to be
President of the LFA before he caters to his the very club he owns,
that is Watanga FC. They see Watanga FC as a club that has been
struggling on and off the pitch under Mr. Bility since he took over as
President.
The LFA stakeholders also stated that if Mr.
Bility possesses leadership qualities, it would have been seen ever
since he joined the current LFA leadership as Executive Committee
Member.
They therefore termed the candidacy of Mr. Bility
as a sad day in the history of the LFA for a novice like Mr. Bility to
even be backed by a hand full of voters of the LFA.
The group warned their colleagues to instead get
their share of the cake being offered by the Bility camp and at the
end of the day vote Cllr. Wesley for the good of the game.
They have termed all of the promises being made
by Mr. Bility as mere rhetorics simply because the Chairman of the
National Mandingo Caucus is vying for the LFA presidency.
The Concerned LFA stakeholders declared that Cllr.
Wesley has the vision to lead the LFA to nobler destiny.
