Liberia National team Lone Star expectation of presentation
in the upcoming African Football festival to be hosted by
Gabon and Equatorial Guinea failed to materialized, but
Liberia will have a representative in the Nations Cup
playing as a Naturalized son for Equatorial Guinea one the
of host of the 2012 Orange Nations Cup.

The naturalized Equatoguinean Footballer who plays for Al-Shabab
in the Omani League, as a center defender was born in
Liberia 3 September 1986 and started his career with high
school football in Liberia before he got a chance in the
national league and moved out in the early 2000’s.
Defender Lawrence Sokota Doe was contracted by clubs in Mali
for few years before landing in his current naturalized home
Equatorial Guinea in 2005 and caught t a deal with
Renacimiento FC that led to the Equatoguinean Footballer
Federation handing the Liberian a chance to naturalized and
he took the opportunity and got their passport.
After two years of football action in Equatorial Guinea, the
naturalized Liberian defender pocketed a contract in Spain
with a club in their lower rank and later deal with Aguilas
FC in the Spanish back in 3rd Division.
Early last year the defender moved to Oman where Lone Star
defensive midfielder Ben Teekloh last played before moving
to Romania, arriving in Oman early last year earned the
defender a employment with Bahla Football Club but he has
returned to his current home land Equatorial Guinea where he
is building with the country national team ahead of the heat
Nations Cup.
The naturalized Liberian defender has been in many games for
his new country involving a home and away clashed with
Liberia few years back at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
Since his departure from Liberian football, the defender has
had timed with Stade Malien in 2002, Djoliba in 2003, Sigui
in 2004, he spend two years with his first Equatorial Guinea
club Renacimiento FC from 2005-07.
The Liberian joined Mengibar in 2007-08 season, back with
Renacimiento FC in 2008, Pulpileno FC the end of 2008
season. The Spanish 3rd division side Aguilas FC had timed
to benefit from the Naturalized Liberian defender in 2009,
he was afforded the jersey of Omani side Bahla FC in 2010,
Pulpileno rebooked the Liberian in the end of the 2010
season, before securing a contract with Al-Shabab FC.
