Sedeke Dukuly Blasts Bogus LFA!
-For Placing Ban On Reporter Mulbah

Former Radio Veritas, Truth FC and Real TV Channel 3 Reporter, Sedeke Dukuly now of Morehouse College, USA

Former Radio Veritas, Truth FM and Real TV Channel 3 Reporter has frowned on the Liberia Football Association (LFA) for the bogus manner in which www.liberiansoccer.com, Champions Sports and SportsDay Senior Reporter, Roland M. Mulbah was banned from entering the so-called headquarters of the LFA for whatever reason.

In an email sent to all sports writers of Liberia, the outspoken sports journalist, Sedeke Dukuly now of Morehouse College, Atlanta United States of America (USA) said the ban placed on reporter Mulbah is an insult to all sports writers and he has called on the local football house to immediately apologize to the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) For the ugly action.

“The ban placed on reporter Mulbah by the LFA clearly tells Liberians and football followers that the current leadership of the local football house is not interested in the development of the game.

“How will you ban someone who informs Liberians and others in the Diaspora about your activities, though you are not productive?

“I was not amazed when I read that the LFA banned Mulbah from entering the so-called headquarters of the LFA for whatever reason. Since then, the leadership has not come out with any justifiable reason for taking the decision.

“As a sports writer, I am calling on the leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) to boycott all the activities of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) without delay.

“This action by the local football house is an insult to sports journalists who work tirelessly to promote football in and out of Liberia,” Sedeke said.

Mr. Dukuly called on the leadership of SWAL not to take the issue for joke and must not give the leadership of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) time to remove the dubious ban.

“There should be no more time given to the LFA to remove this ban. For real, the LFA should apologize to all sports writers for her ugly action.

"If you are not satisfied with a story, write SWAL and it will be amicably resolved,” Mr. Dukuly noted in a rather angry frame of mind.

It can be recalled a month ago, the leadership of the LFA, without the advice of the Executive Committee, placed a ban on journalist Roland M. Mulbah after the young journalist reported on the stealing of more than US$53,000.00 from the LFA Account by the treasurer, Nimley J. Toe.

The stealing of the money, according to information, delayed the opening of phase two of the LFA national league as well as employees’ salaries where the LFA went seeking loan from a local Bank.

The Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) is expected to take a stance regarding the suspension of reporter Mulbah.
