SWAL to Boycott Lone Star Match

The Independence celebration involving Liberia, Guinea and Ghana could get a major jolt as the SPorts Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) for what the leadership term disrespect.

According to reports, the Liberia Football Association through its Public Relations Officer (PRO) Henry Flomo issued just five passes to the leadership of SWAL as a means of covering today's match involving Liberia and Guinea.

SWAL which has a membership of more than more than 90 members believe the LFA is degrading it and does not value its work, hence the decision to boycott today's match.

At the same time, cogent report from SWAL says it has warned all of its members not to report any thing on the match, before, during or after, and indicated anyone doing so will fact the association's wrath.
