SWAL Warns Coach Mulbah

Head Coach, Mr. Roland M. Mulbah of the Champions Sports,

The Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) has issued a must win warning letter to its football Head Coach, Mr. Roland M. Mulbah of the Champions Sports, Sportsday and www.liberiansoccer.com ahead of the association’s anniversary match slated for Sunday, November 22, 2009 against Senior brothers Old-timers Sports Association.

According to the letter, Coach Mulbah will be sack if he fails to pull a win against Senior Brothers this Sunday at the Barnersville sports pitch at 4: PM as SWAL continues its 23rd anniversary celebration.

With just a game and a defeat since the young coach took over the Pen Pushers, many believe the warning letter is hash and that Coach Mulbah should be given time to put together a formidable SWAL squad aimed at thrashing some big guns as far as local football is concern.

It can be recalled Coach Mulbah lost narrowly 2-1 against Liberia Football Association (LFA) Ballers in his first match at the helm of authority of SWAL as head Coach.

Coach Mulbah, who has visited some top rated Liberian coaches for consultation for the epic clash, told reporters in Monrovia that he has corrected mistakes made in the previous match against Ballers and assured SWAL members and keen followers of Liberian of total victory.

“The match against Ballers which I lost was marked by cheating as you may know all LFA referees are members of LFA Ballers.

“The match with Senior Brothers this Sunday is very crucial for SWAL and I have put in place the necessary ideas to win the match,” Coach Mulbah noted.

When asked whether he has the players to battle Senior Brothers to secure his job, the ardent follower of the world popular sport noted “I am only worried about Wleh Jean Bedell who is also a member of Senior Brothers.

“I have invited Bedell to training to form part of the match, but whether he would play for SWAL or Senior Brothers which he is an Executive of remains unknown.

“But the likes of Momolu V.O. Sirleaf, Malcon W. Joseph, Zoegar Jaynes, Hilary Conoe, Oration Nesta Bobby Willie,   O’Neal Roberts, Jonathan O. Nagbe, Winston Gaye and others will be available for the match,” the SWAL Coach noted.
