Relegated Invincible Eleven has won The Sillah’s Tourney
an off-season competition.
IE beat their archrivals Mighty Barrolle on Christmas Day.
The Yellow Boys have won the Kasumu Sillah Annual Football Tournament.
They came from a goal down to beat Barrolle 3-1 in a highly charged
showdown.
Amos Kollie scored two times for IE while Abel Quiah got the winner.
This year’s Sillah Foundation Tournament was played in honor of Edwin
Melvin Snowe, Jr.
Mr.Snowe is Managing Director of the Liberia Petroleum Refinery
Company (LPRC).
Four teams participated in this year’s fray.
LISCR FC and LPRC Oilers settled to a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Newly promoted premiership team Black Star beat first divison Gedi&
Sons in an exbition game.
Black Star won the game 1-0 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
James Zotiah scored for Black Star after eight minutes.
