Join Oilers In Basketball Final

The NPA Pythons have been paired against LPRC Oilers for the grand
final of the 2005 national
basketball championship.
The NPA Pythons booked their space to the final after eliminating
Mighty Barrolle from the
playoff.
After regular time ended in a tie, the NPA Pythons finally conquered
the red boys 76-75 in
extra time on Sunday at the Sports Commission.
Mighty Barrolle had won the first of the best out of three series
before the NPA Pythons came
back to win two straight matches.
The LPRC Oilers didn t have much task in reaching the final after
capturing two consecutive
victories over Uhuru Kings.
The final match between both NPA Pythons and LPRC Oilers, two sides
representing public
companies based on Bushrod Island, will be played on a best out of
five basis, with the greater
team capturing the championship.
The NPA Pythons are the current holders of the national basketball
league after they outclassed
the LPRC Oilers last season. |
