Papy Keita Fails Lone Star Rating

Thursday, 19 January 2012
The Lone Star’s invitation to overseas players seeking
involvement with national duty recently landed a Belgium
based Liberian midfielder Papy Keita, ahead of the just
canceled friendly encounter with the Eagles of Nigeria.
Inside sources said the European base midfielder failed to
impress coaches, who headed the session prior to the
cancelation of the match despite landing here to form part
of the team.
The Belgian 4e Nationale C Division outfit Royal Cappellen
FC has the Liberian as a midfielder, but with all the
experiences gained over the years, he could not justify his
inclusion among the local base players.
But it has been indicated in Monrovia that Keita will have
another opportunity to prove himself for inclusion on the
nation’s only pride, the red white and blue.
