The Liberia Football Association 2009 league season continued
Wednesday at three venues across the country.
At the Antoinette Tubman Stadium, a determined PYC Jubilee forced
Mighty Barrolle to a 2 all draw.
Dahnnjudu Sarmadal put the Rollers up in the 13th minute before
Henry Sando got the equalizer two minutes later.
Nuzohn Kulala increased the tally for Mighty Barrolle in the 33
minute from a perfect finish.
Emmanuel Koffah rescued the point for PYC from a clinical finish 25
minutes from time.
Our reporter who covered the match said the encounter was mixed with
skills and tactical ball display.
In Wednesday other results Barrack Young Controllers buried USA
Invaders 4-0 at the Unification Town Sports pitch in Margibi County.
In Kakata City at the refurbished Nancy Doe Stadium, Margibi based
Mighty Blue Angels defeated Monrovia Club Breweries 3-0.
The league will continue today with several electrifying matches
taking place at the same venues.
Rejuvenated Gedi & Sons will play host to UMC Roots at the
Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
LISCR FC will battle giant killer Jasmine Rangers in Thursday’s
other proceeding at the Unification Town Sports Pitch.
Defending Champions Black Star FC will engage LPRC Oilers at the
Kakata Stadium in the other pairing of the day.
