Oilers
Maintains Unbeaten Run!

Even the rain could not stop Oilers’ celebration
By Roland M. Mulbah
Sensational and always sensational LPRC Oilers maintained her
unbeaten run in the current Liberia Football Association (LFA)
premiership.
The petroleum boys achieved the feat after edging Mighty Barrolle
1-0 at the well attended Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on
Thursday, June 4, 2009 in Monrovia.
The oil boys got the match lone goal through former Invincible
Eleven (IE) midfielder Blamo Weah to see the gold and black outfit
secure 39 points to stay four points on the LFA premiership table.
The Gabriel Johns guided side has played 15 games with 12 wins,
three draws with 39 points and it seems the 2005 LFA premiership
champions is nearing setting another record as the only team in the
LFA premiership since its inception in 2004 to go unbeaten in the
first phase.
LPRC now has LFA premiership sentimental favorite LISCR FC and newly
promoted LFA premier outfit Adorence FC to battle in the first
phase.
Wins for the team in her last two matches would see them closer to
the championship.
