What
could
be
termed
as a
future
frustration
in
the
case
of
top
level
football
or
player
transfer
in
the
Liberia
Football
Association
(LFA)
2009
National
league
is
said
to
be
looming
as
the
inspirational
Jasmie
Rangers’
players
Freeman
Mulbah,
Gus
Totimeh
and
Momo
Blamo,
Jr.
could
be
bothered
in
their
quest
to
play
top
level
football
where
their
transfer
to
LPRC
Oilers
is
said
to
be
in a
hitch
over
a
so-called
LD$200,000.00
transfer
fees.
According
to
reports
gathered
by
Champions
Sports,
Jasmie
Rangers’s
president,
who
just
returned
from
the
United
States
of
America,
is
demanding
a no
compromised
LD$600,000.00
for
the
three
players
if
their
quest
to
play
for
Oilers
will
be
achieved.
The
reports
say,
Oilers
coach
Gabriel
Johns
had
earlier
gone
to
Jasmie’s
administration
to
discuss
the
players’
transfer,
but
it
was
learnt
by
this
paper
that
the
Rangers
boss
clearly
told
Oilers’
coach
that
only
the
LD$600,000.00
is
holding
the
players.
“We
went
to
negotiate
for
the
players,
but
their
team
is
demanding
LD$200,000.00
flat
at
transfer
fees
for
each
of
the
player.
“We
want
to
go
back
to
the
old
transfer
fees
of
LD$40,000.00
for
each
player,
but
their
team
has
denied
us,”
Oilers’
coach
Johns
noted
in a
frustrated
mood.
The
players
have
since
impressed
in
their
two
weeks
tryout
with
the
oil
boys,
but
the
huge
transfer
fees
could
see
their
dream
of
playing
top
level
died.
It
can
be
recalled
some
time
last
year
after
the
Zurich
meeting,
clubs
of
the
LFA
demanded
the
LFA
to
carry
on a
professional
league.
The
LFA
than
listed
some
requirements
for
carrying
on a
professional
league.
Among
the
requirements,
the
local
football
house
wrote
every
premier
team
to
have
an
office
space,
home
ground
for
league
matches,
LD$200,000.00
as
transfer
fees,
minimum
salary
of
LD$2,000.00
for
players
and
staffers
among
others.
Whether
all
of
these
will
hold
and
whether
the
so-called
professional
league
will
take
effect,
remain
the
biggest
question
waiting
for
answer.
And,
whether
Freeman,
Gus
and
Blamo
will
see
their
dream
of
playing
for
LPRC
Oilers
realized
is
another
thing
many
are
anxious
to
see.
We
wait
to
see.
