Liberian youth international Alex Nimely was on the score sheet for Manchester City reserves in their FA Youth Cup semi final victory on Wednesday.

The Liberian international scored the match winner for City few seconds after coming on the pitch.

Manchester City Reserves beat Plymouth 4-1 in an away match to remain favorites to lift the title.

Alex Nimely came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute and made an immediate impact.

He beat the Pilgrims' offside trap and calmly took the ball around Saxton before slotting into an empty net.

Alex Nimely joined Manchester City from Cameroon’s Cotton Sport in search of a premier league career.

The 17-year-old Liberian hopes to make it to the first team at the start of the next football season in England.
