Liberian youth international Alex Nimely has regained his scoring form in the English Youth Championship.

The Liberian player was among the scorers in his club Manchester City Under 18s 3-1 win over Everton Under -18s on Saturday.

According to the reserves website, Alex Nimely missed a penalty during the match in the 9th minute.

The Liberian striker made amends when he scored the first goal of the match in the 14th minute from a well coordinated effort.

The club website reports that Nimely dribbled a defender at the edge of the box and fired a low hard shot under the dive of the Everton goalkeeper.

The goal was Nimely’s 17th in all competition this season.

The victory also saw Manchester City reserves extending their lead at the top of the table by 12 points from nine games before the end of the season
