Nimely goal buries Man United Reserves

Written by Horatio Bobby Willie

Liberia’s Alex Nimely was the score in his club Manchester City Reserves league victory over Manchester United Reserves in a mini-derby match.

Alex Nimely collected the goal in superb fashion in the 20th minute of the match.

According to Manchester City website, it was a cross from the halfway line by Greg Cummingham that Nimley latched onto and ghost behind the Reds defense.

The website reported the young Liberian striker made a difficult chance look easy displaying excellent control to arch the ball over a transfixed Ron-Robert Zeiler in the Manchester Reserves goal.

Nimely had earlier sent a flashing header fizzing the wrong side of the upright as the young blues created much the better openings.

The goal was the Liberian born striker second in his club’s last two league matches
