The newly elected President of the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association (BSA), Julia Duncan-Cassell, has said her leadership has outlined series of activities marking the association's upcoming inauguration.

According to Madam Duncan-Cassell, some of the activities include a day-long sport festival and a Thanksgiving Service.

Addressing a news conference in Monrovia Wednesday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS), Madam Duncan-Cassell stated that these activities are aimed at creating awareness amongst the fans of the association.

Hear Madam Duncan-Cassell: “All we want to do here is to first of all create awareness amongst our many fans. We want to make sure that the true spirit of Mighty Barrolle lives on forever. That is our major goals.”

Madam Duncan-Cassell, who is also the Superintendent of Grand Bassa County, disclosed that Counselor Varney Sherman will serve as the keynote speaker at the formal induction ceremony.

Counselor Sherman is a staunch member of Mighty Barrolle's traditional rival, Invincible Eleven (IE).

“The major goal of the new leadership is not that different from its predecessor; it is to unite all members of the club. And from there we will all move forward. Our club is one of the oldest, and it is about time that we try to make a change, a positive change, ” he said.
