National Leagues Commences After Elections

Written by Macpherson C. Marbiah
The Liberia Football Association Cellcom Sponsor National
Leagues are expected to commence across the country after
the October 11 Elections. According to reports emanating
from the football house, all is now set for the battle for
the Championships in the various Leagues to get on the way.
The LFA said the delay in playing the 3rd Division League
Play-off matches is the main reason for which the National
Leagues did not start in the official opening week which was
early pronounced by is President Musa Bility. The LFA
however said the Play-off matches are currently taking place
across the country and right after the Elections the Leagues
will commence.
Meanwhile, the LFA is calling on all team Presidents or
Sponsors wanting to participate in the LFA 2011-2012
National League Season to make use of the time given them to
carry on their teams registration at the Headquarters of the
football house between the corner of Benson and Newport
Streets in Monrovia to be able to compete in the 2011-2012
Leagues Season.
