Football League Set For March 7
-Mark Professionals Not Participating

The national football league is set to commence
March 7 according to reports from the Liberia Football Association
(LFA).
This year league will see teams from the Premier,
First, Second and Female Divisions participating.
As far as the Premier League is concerned, the likes of
Mighty Barrolle, Invincible Eleven (IE), LPRC Oilers, Alliance FC,
LISCR FC, Shoes FC (formerly Mighty BUSA), Monrovia Club Breweries.
For the First Division, the race will be among the likes of NPA
Anchors, Monrovia Black Stars, Watanga FC, Roza among others.
The league will be played on a two-phase basis. It is set to end
July 17, 2004 if force majeure is not factor.
Meanwhile, one of the top clubs of the Premier League, Mark
Professionals has written the LFA stating their unreadiness to
participate in the league.
The FA says players of Mark Professionals will transferred to
any clubs of their choice on
provisional clearances. |
