Reports reaching this paper indicate that the President of premier outfit, Watanga FC Mr. Musa Bility is expected to joint the presidential race for the up coming Liberia Football Association (LFA) 2010 elections.

According to the reports, Mr. Bility is expected to hold a big meeting with stakeholders and sports analysts at his Duport Road Residence on Sunday, March 22, 2009.

It was also disclosed that the Watanga FC President is expected to let the cat out of the bag concerning the LFA 2010 elections at the Sunday meeting.

The reports gathered revealed that Mr. Bility’s running mates will include his long time buddies, Mustapha Raji, President of premier outfit LISCR FC as vice president for Administration and Adolph Lawrence, the LFA current Vice President for Operations.

The reports also say that the incumbent LFA President Cllr. Sombo Izetta Wesley will contest the 2010 elections.

According to soccer pundits, the Liberian Football Iron Lady could be a formidable force in the race after knocking out Siaka Sheriff in the 2006 elections in Kakata, Margibi County.

It was disclosed that veteran sports administrator Garmondeh Karnga and Sekou Konneh will be Cllr. Wesley’s running mates as Vice President for Administration and Operations respectively.

The third camp for the LFA 2010 elections is the camp of former Lone Star striker Musa Shannon.
The reports indicated that the former Lone Star striker will have as running mates LFA current Vice President for Administration, Mr. Pennoh Bestman for the same post, while his former team mate Kelvin Sebwe will come to the fore as Vice President for Operations.

Shannon’s camp, if successful, will lobby for another former Lone Star’s player to serve as Secretary General of the LFA.
