Mulbah Wins Award In Senegal

Remarkable young Liberian journalist, Roland M. Mulbah, who writes for SportsDay, Champions Sports and www.liberiansoccer.com as senior Reporter has won a major award in Dakar, Senegal.

Mulbah, who is currently the best print media journalist of the Liberia football Association (LFA), as well as Assistant secretary General of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL), won the award after scoring the highest marking in the first test (20) questions given by Rome based English journalist, Barnaby Chesterman, who is the instructor for the top rated journalist course organized by Agence France Presse (AFP) and FIFA.

The young pen pusher was given a giant sized football magazine as gift from APF and FIFA.

“This is just the beginning. There are several awards to be won here. We want to put SWAL on the map in sports journalism in Africa,” award winner Roland M. Mulbah noted in a happier manner.

Gambia’s Lamin Grammeh of Point Newspaper won the second place, while Liberia’s Fomah Kanneh, who is also the Vice President for SWAL secured third place.
