Monrovia FC Swedish Coach  starts on a High Note

Liberia’s first division side Monrovia FC preparation ahead of the national league season is gaining result.

The club recently damaged the Army Forces of Liberia first division side Defense Guidance 5-1 in the ongoing “Who Owns The Land” tournament taking place in Monrovia at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium involving 67 football clubs.

Monrovia FC hired Swedish Coach Johan Sandahl is the first international coach to head a team in the line in the Who Owns The Land tournament that is experiencing its first edition since the Liberian civil crisis that started in 1989.

             

The club takes on Small Town FC on Thursday night in the Who Owns The Land tournament: Small Town FC thrashed relegated premiership side Gedi & Sons from the ongoing tournament from the spot kick after full time ended 1-1 on Sunday
