Persita Tangaran newly signed midfielder cum striker; Steve Mennoh
says he is hoping that his team would emerge as champions at the end
of the season in the Indonesian premiership.
The hit man who joined Persita during the recent mid season transfer
from another premiership side Suwijaya indicated that his aim is to
win laurels this season, and noted that he would rally his team
mates to ensure they end the season as champions.
The hard working player who has fellow country men Fallah Johnson
and Oscar Glaydor as team mates is said to be making in roads at his
new club, and is said to be the favorite of the crowd.
Persita is currently at the upper half of the table, and fans of the
purple and white out fit are indeed delighted that Mennoh is part of
their club.
The explosive player who marked his international debut for country
Liberia in the 2004 Nations cup qualifiers against Ethiopia with a
goal that ensured the Lone Star 1-0 win is a gifted player who club
managers would love to have in their line up.
In the middle of the park, he adds some bite as well as provides the
ammunition upfront for his side strikers, while in the attacking
third he is a terror in the box and bang in the goals for his side.
The ex-LPRC Oilers player left the captain arm band of former club
Suwija to face a much tougher challenge at Persita.
He is being regarded as one of the best foreign imports in
Indonesia, and many say he is certainly a star to watch out for
