Liberian youth international Alex Nimely is set to join English Premiership side Manchester City.

According to the Sunday Mirror an English paper, Manchester City has sealed a deal to sign Alex Nimely.

The decision to sign the Liberian youth international came after he scored a sensational goal in training with Sven-Goran Eriksson’s first team squad.

Nimely, 16, went to England last month from Cameroon outfit Cotonsport to pursue his premier league dream.

Portsmouth refused to meet his wage demands after a successful tried out while Blackburn Rovers failed to make an offer.

According to Tribal football, Manchester City has stepped in with a three and a half year deal that Alex Nimely is expected to sign next week.

The former Mighty Barrolle player is currently on vacation in Liberia and is due to leave for England before the New Year.
