Makor ends goal drought

Liberian international midfielder Oliver Makor has ended his goal drought in the Greek second division league.

Oliver Makor scored two goals in his club Ionikos 3-2 away win over Chaidari on Wednesday.

Makor opened the score for the club in the 42nd minute from a wonderful strike.

The Liberian international scored his second goal of the game in the 80th minute.

Makor has been the leading scorer for the club in the last two seasons but until Wednesday he has failed to find the back of the net.

Gakos made it three for Ionikos in the 88th minute.

Tasois and Etogo were the scorers for Chaidari in the 60th and 72nd minute.

The victory has taken Ionikos to the second place on the Greek B Ethniki table with 34 points from 18 games.

Ionikos is second on goal difference as they share the same points with the leaders PAS Giannina.
