Makor and Kanneh on Target In Europe

Two Liberian players were in scoring form in Europe over the weekend.

The two were Oliver Makor of Greece and Abu Kanneh based in Austria.Oliver Makor scored for Ionikos in their league defeat to Larissa.

The Liberian scored after three minutes but his club conceded two goals in the second half. The goal was Makor’s first of the season.

The defeat leaves Ionikos seated at the 8th position on the Greek Super League table with 7 points from five games.

In Austria, Abu Kanneh continued his brilliant start to the season with another goal.

Kanneh scored for FC Gratkorn in their 1-1 draw with Admira Wacker in the Red Zac Erste Liga.

The Liberian player scored in the 51st minute but their opponents found the equalizer in the 71st minute.

FC Gratkorn are now 3rd on the league table with 17 points from 10 games.
