Minister Richards meets with sports director of Sinje, Oscar

The Deputy Minister for Sports at the Ministry of Youth and Sports
Marbue Richard is expected to leave the capital on Friday for Bomi
County as part of their assessment visits to the various counties in
the country.
A release issued by the Ministry on Wednesday said during his one
day visit to Bomi County he will meet with county officials, head of
sporting institutions and community leaders.
He will also be given the opportunity to tour all sporting
facilities. On April 23, Minister Richard and the Director of
Sports, Navaro Saykie visited Grand Cape Mount County where they met
with Acting Superintendent Eric V. Pinney and county officials.
During the visit, an exhibition football match was played at the
Momo Taweh Stadium between Sinje High School and Episcopal High
School.
As part of the Grand Cape Mount County’s support toward youth
development through sports, Acting Superintendent Pinneh disclosed
that four acres of land will be made available for sporting
activities.
The Deputy Minister of Sports has already began visiting various
communities in Montserado County, including West Point,
Gardnersville and Bannersville.
