Lone Star 4 Game Set

Liberia’s Wright-Philips Desperate!

Mighty Barrolle danger kid Archie Harvey, alias Shaun Wright Philips says he will fight for a starting role in the current Mighty Barrolle squad.

The master dribble lost his place due to what was termed by Coach Eric Thompson, alias Christian Cole as lackadaisical performance.

Harvey admitted his disappointment in being omitted from Mighty Barrolle’s starting line-up but believes if he is given the chance this weekend against defending champions Black Star he will be desperate to impress.

“I am not happy being on the bench and I think the coaches are not doing me justice. I need sufficient time to prove to them I am not a bench player.

“The coach talked to me about improving my game, but most importantly I thing I need time to showcase.

“I am looking forward to the weekend match against defending champions Black Star where I will prove to the technical staff that I deserve a starting place,” Harvey noted.

Archie is finding it difficulty as Mighty Barrolle is one of the teams in the LFA premiership that has some of the country’s best players especially in attack which poses serious problem for a player to boast of a starting place.

The team’s Captain and assistant Captain Nuzohn Kulala and Weaka Wisseh are during tremendously well, while new comers in the form of LFA 2008 premiership top goal scorer Sam Andrews and lethal Dahnjudu Sawmadal, alias Didier are also on top of their game.

The bench has some talented players in the form of the team’s last season top goal scorer Kpah Sherman, winger Seh Coleman, versatile Terry Gambleh, goal customer Bill Hiah and other which also make matter difficult to select a team.
