3 Liberian Players Off To Egypt!

El Gouna FC in the top flight of Egyptian football becomes the new  destination for three top rated Liberia Football Association (LFA) premier league players after the trio took off today, Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in the morning hours to continue their soccer career in that part of the world.

LFA 2009 premiership champions, Mighty Barrolle duo, Nuzohn Kulala, who is probably the best player on the local scene and Weaka Wisseh, LFA 2009 premiership top goal scorer (golden boots winner 19 21 in all competitions), as well as LFA 2009 knockout champions, Barrack Young Controller (BYC) hit man, Matthew Dede are the three players who left the country to boost the attack of the Egyptian premier club, El Gouna attack.

According to in formation gathered, authorities of El Gouna FC are eager for the arrival of the Liberian trio, who are in top form to pull the necessary tracks for their new club aim at winning silver wear.

Kulala and Wisseh had impressive season with Mighty Barrolle where the duo helped the Rollers clinched the LFA 2009 premiership with danger man, Kulala serving as Captain.

Dede also showed great performance as he guided youthful BYC to a superb routine where the team won the LFA 2009 knockout as well as third place on the 18 teams’ top flight table.

Brief History of El Gouna FC  

El Gouna FC is an Egyptian football club based in El-Gouna, Egypt. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Premier League after having been promoted from the Second Division in 2008/09.

The club started in the fourth division in 2003/04 to become champions at the first attempt. El Gouna FC accomplished the same feat in 2004/05 on third division level and completed the trilogy in the first season on second division level in 2005/06. Having missed out on promotion through the play-offs, the club managed its fourth successive title in 2006/07 and again failed to qualify for the top flight during the play-offs. A mediocre second division campaign in 2007/08 was followed by the second division championship in 2008/09, finally resulting in promotion to the Momtaz.
