Liberian International George Gebro has helped his club to their
first league win in Cyprus.
Gebro scored for AEL Limassol when they came from 2 goals down in
the first half to beat defending champions Apollon 4-2.
The Liberian international midfielder scored the equalizer for AEL
Limassol when they were down 2-1. Gebro scored in the second half.
However, his good performance was short lived. The player was sent
off for taking off his jersey while celebrating his goal.
According to the club website, Gebro ran outside the perimeter of
the pitch to celebrate the goal.
The victory gives Limassol 3 points from three games in the first
division league of Cyprus.
