Liberian
Ref Named For Major Event

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.
For the first time in many years, Liberia will have a
referee at a major African football final.
The Liberia Football Referees Association (LIFRA) announced on
Tuesday that Jallah Kormah has been selected to officiate in the 6th
African Under-17 championship. The under-17 championship will run from
May 7 to 22, 2005 in The Gambia.
Mr. Kromah, a FIFA baddge referee, has left the country on Tuesday
to take up the assignment.
He made his international debut when he was among three Liberians
that officiated in a CAF match in Nigeria recently. |
