Liberian basketball players in Europe are continuing to hit the
headlines.
Patrick Flomo
The players are based in Germany and Finland. They are Patrick Flomo
and Boakai Lalugba.
Over the weekend, Flomo helped his club to a league win.
The Liberian born American star scored 17 points in the Hertener Lowen
victory. Hertener beat SOBA Dragons Rhondorf 91 to 86 points.
Flomo also recorded 8 rebounds during the game. The match was played
on Sunday. Elsewhere in Europe, Boakia Lalugba scored had another
impressive performance.
Lalugba scored 21 points in a round 19 Korisliiga game. However that
could not stop the Korihait from defeat.
They went down to Nimaka Lahti 91 to 104 points. Lalugba is currently
the third highest scorer in the league.
