The world football body, FIFA has listed Liberia among countries that will benefit from its next round of technical assistance and development program.

FIFA has listed the country among its member nations that would benefit from Goal Project II.

Liberia Football Association Vice for Administration told Star Radio they were informed about the latest development through a letter from FIFA President Seep Blatter.

Mr. Pennoh Bestman said Goal Project II would see the construction of football center.

He said the technical details for the center would be worked out by engineers that would carryout the construction.

Mr.Bestman said FIFA is to provide four hundred and fifty thousand United States dollars for the project.

The LFA Vice President for Administration said the government of Liberia would be expected to add up to that amount.

He said the facility when constructed would include two football fields, two dormitories, a conference hall, auditorium and offices.

Liberia has been awarded Goal Project II because the country successfully carried out the first phase of Goal Project I.

The first phase of the project was the modernization of the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
