Liberia Finishes Third In Homeless World Cup

Liberia has won the third place position at the Homeless World Cup held in Cape Town, South Africa.

Liberia beat Cameroon 6-0 on Saturday to lift the bronze.

The Homeless World Cup brought together 48 nations with Liberia making her first appearance.

This year’s competition was held under the theme Kicking Out Poverty.

Liberia is now expected to rank among countries playing in the Homeless World Cup.

The country put up an impressive show in the 4th edition of the tournament.

Russia won the competition after beating Kazakhstan 1-0 in the grand final.

Players that participated in the competition were each presented a medal.
