Liberia-Senegal Match Accrues L$3,110,800

  More than two months after Liberia hosted Senegal in Monrovia, the money accrued from the that match have now been known.
  The Youth and Sports Ministry during the week released a summary of the ticket sales on October 10, 2004.
  According to the ticket sales summary, total cash received was L$3,110,800.00 from a L$3,145,495.00 cash reported. The report stated a shortage of L$34,695.00.
  It has also been known that a total of 35,250 tickets were printed, 17,149 tickets sold, 17,447 returned and 654 complementary tickets.
  Of the total tickets printed, 26,200 were printed for Around The Field, with 14,830 sold, 11,220 returned and 150 as complementary tickets.
  The report said the total tickets printed for Stadium Wing were 6,750, 1,987 printed, 4,663 returned and 100 as complementary tickets.
  As for Around VIP, the tickets printed, as far as the report is concerned, were 2,000, but 267 were sold, 1,483 returned and 250 as complementary tickets.
  The total VIP tickets, the reported revealed, were 300; 65 were sold, 81 returned and 154 complementary tickets.
  The Sports Ministry said the amount realized was the highest recorded in the history of the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.
