The second division champions Mighty Blue Angels have decided to play series of test matches in neighboring Sierra Leone.

According to a communication to Sierra Leone-based Mighty Blackpool, the Mighty Blue Angels is scheduled to also play matches against Kamboi Eagles FC of Kenema and Kawah Rangers FC of Bo and East End Lions of Freetown respectively.

The club said the trip is intended to promote football in the Sub-region, having realized that the game is gaining momentum in the promotion of world peace. "Therefore, our Sub-Region being on the era of reconciliation and peace-building, the need for football promotion and connection among us cannot be overemphasized, we have decided to engage you in a friendly soccer match to be played on your sports pitch in Sierra Leone on a date and time to be negotiated by both teams," the communication read.

The Harbel-based club has selected its Secretary-General Sheku Sam to travel to Freetown to negotiate the team's trip. He will leave the country today.

"We request were you to kindly give Mr. Sam all necessary assistance and courtesy due him in the fairness of the game," Mighty Blue Angels told their Sierra Leonean counterpart.
