Liberian player Leo Gibson has joined a new club in the United Soccer League of the United States.

The Minnesota Thunder announced on Monday that forward Leo Gibson has been transferred to the Cleveland City Stars.

The former Black Star midfielder is moving to Cleveland or an undisclosed but attractive fee.

Leo spent three seasons with Minnesota Thunder and played 48 regular season games.

The Liberian player scored nine goals in the USL championship during his stay with the Minnesota club.

He had a relatively unsuccessful season with the club last year spending most of the time out injured.
