Liberia’s Anthony Laffor scored the consolation goal for his club in
their league defeat on Saturday in South Africa’s Premier Soccer
League.
Anthony Laffor scored the equalizer for Supersport United when they
went down to Free State Stars 4-1.
Laffor scored what reports in South Africa described as an easy
finish.
The Liberian striker scored in the third minute of first half
stoppage time after the Free State Stars goalkeeper failed to deal
with a curling shot.
Laffor is the top scorer so far for Supersport United with five
goals.
The defeat has dropped the defending champions to the second place
on the Premier Soccer League with 28 points from 16 games.
