Liberia’s Anthony Laffor has rescued his club Supersport United in the ongoing South African premier league.

The South African based Liberian forward was on target in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday evening.

Anthony Laffor scored the lone goal in his club Supersport United 1-1 draw against fellow league contenders Orlando Pirates.

According to the club’s official website, the Liberian hit in his side equalizer in the 78th minute, three minutes after Mabalane had scored for Orlando Pirates.

Anthony Laffor slammed in the much needed equalizer for his club after receiving a pass form teammate Salmo to beat the goalkeeper with a one-on-one finish.

The goal was the player’s eleventh of the season in the South African top flight.

Despite the draw, Supersport United leads the table 54 points from 28 matches, 6 points above Orlando Pirates who are their nearest opponents.
