Liberia’s Anthony Laffor was on the score sheet in last weekend’s
African Champions League.
Anthony Laffor scored for Supersport United in their away defeat
against Ugandan Champions Kampala City Council.
Laffor put his side ahead just before half time after he headed the
ball into an empty net.
But the lead was short lived as the Ugandans reconsolidated and won
the match 2-1 during the second half.
The weekend’s goal was the Liberian player second in the champions’
league after three games.
Laffor scored in the preliminary round of the competition against
Curepipe Starlight of Mauritius.
The Liberian striker scored the 5th goal in his club Supersport
United 5-2 away win.
Laffor who is one of the top scorers for the club in this year’s
Primer Soccer League will hope to improve on his fortunes in the
return leg next week.
