Heads Basketball Federation

Madam Gbour Wilson will now head the Liberia Basketball Federation
(LBF). She takes over from Philibert Browne who will officially leave
the job next month during the closing of the 2005 season.
Senior basketball referee Patrick Sumo told this medium that Madam
Wilson would head the LBF until elections are held next year in March.
Prior to her ascendancy, Madam Wilson, a former female basketball
star, served as Vice President for Administration.
The outgoing LBF president Browne decided to quit in order to focus on
his new role as head of the Liberia National Olympic Committee (LNOC). |
