Holds Open Time Trial

The Liberia National Olympic Committee (LNOC) will hold
an Open Time Trial on Saturday April 1, 2006 beginning at 9:00 PM.
Due to ongoing renovation works at the Samuel Kanyon
Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, the event will take place at the
Lott Carey Baptist Mission in Brewerville.
In a release, an anticipated number of 300 female and
male athletes will compete from the 100 to 1,500 meters.
The purpose of the Open Time Trial is to select
athletes for the Solidarity Tournament for Western Region or Zone
Three in Lome, Togo in May 2006.
Athletes to compete in the African Seniors
Championship in Mauritius in August will also be selected at the Open
Time Trial.
The LTFF invites potential athletes to compete in the festival.
