Reach Basketball Final

The LPRC Oilers have celebrated their qualification for the premier
league basketball grand final.
The oil boys whipped the Uhuru Kings back to back to prepare for
either Mighty Barrolle or NPA Pythons in the final showdown.
At the Sports Commission, the LPRC Oilers defeated their playoff
rivals 72-71 before a record crowd on Saturday, April 30.
The match between LPRC Oilers and Uhuru Kings was a three-match
affairs but with the former winning two-matches, the contest has
automatically come to a close. LPRC Oilers won the first match 70-62.
Meanwhile, it is one-all between the other premier league rivals
Mighty Barrolle and NPA Pythons.
NPA Pythons defeated Barrolle 69-66 last Sunday, May 1, at the Sports
Commission. Barrolle won the first match, so the next encounter this
coming Friday will decide the other finalist. |
