LISCR in impressive start

LISCR FC has gotten up to an impressive start in the Presidents Cup competition.

LISCR FC scored a convincing 2-0 victory over NPA Anchors at the SKD Sports Complex on Saturday.

Patrick Wleh popularly known of Rolnadhino, formely of Gedi and Sons scored both goals in grandstlye to ensure his new team advance to the next round.

Patrick Wleh scored in both the first and second halves.

Earlier, Gedi and Sons FC dragged Watanga FC 2-1 in an entertaining showdown.

Archie Harvey put Gedi ahead after only three minutes of play from a brilliant effort.

Wiaka Wesseh increased the lead in the 18th minute before Leon Power scored Watanga’s consolation in the 28th minute.

In the opening match of the competition, Tito United buried Antares Sisters 11 goals to zero in female football.

Princess Kofa scored five times for Tito United.
