Last night
Saturday (March 25th , 2006) Super League match saw Pahang
F.A. taking on PULAU PINANG E&O at the stadium Negeri Batu Kawan in
Penang.
The match
started well and
Indeed
Pahang's
defensive performance was one of their best
this season,
marshall by Nigerian Central Defender (Iyowuna
Edward,
who is believe to be on his way to THUNDER BAY CHILL in Canada soon),
even though there were still moments of uncertainty, if not downright
panic,
after the home side scored in the 29th minute by Saufi
Ibrahim.
Pahang
looked far better balanced here with more pace in central defense
thanks to
Nigerian Defender Iyowuna Edward
more influential in the centre.
Liberian Striker Josiah Seton, the goal-scoring phenomenon, started
THE SHOW with his blasting pace, leaving the Africa –Dust behind with
defenders, dribbling and top class passing to connect his team mate
and twin striking partner Malaysian Indra.
The visitors went to the break of half time down, 1-0 to the home
side. Head Coach Zainal’s Pahang came back in 2nd half with
more pressure on the home side, with –man of the match – Seton
lighting on fire with his dribbling and passes again, which led him to
equalize in the 73rd minute.
A 1-2 wall pass between he and Indra, saw him face to face with the
goal keeper, as he dribble the goal keeper and walk into the goal. I
use the (ZAKAMOU) Seton said. It was one of my best matches this
season, said Africa Dust. God is good, all the time. We deserve to
take all three points. Thanks to the boys. It was a team effort. With
the draw away, Pahang remains in 6th position of the 8 team
super league, with nine more matches to be played. The last two teams
will be relegated to Premier league, while the first two in the
Premier will be promoted.
