Nearly fifteen years now since George Weah left the shores of
Cameroon for the superior theater, many football fans in that great football
country have been thinking that no other Liberian player would emerge to
carry the mantle established by King George Weah overlooking the fact that
Liberia is hallowed with immense skills.
Defeating this perception, three Liberian
players, Francis “Grand Pa” Doe, Ben Teekloh and Patrick Omar Sessay, have
become the talk of Cameroon as their lightening skills keep fetching
celebrated exploits of George Weah during his hey days with Tonnerre Klara
club of Yaoundé.
The three Liberians who play for Tonnerre Klara club
have liberated the former African giant side from soccer doldrums.

A notable goal poacher, Francis Doe, has bumped in four
goals from seven league matches with compatriots Ben Teekloh, a defender
turned midfielder and Patrick Sessay, striker, giving the chains. In one of
their matches against rival club Canon de Yaoundé, Francis Doe, 17, stole
the scene with his brilliant striking ability sending the entire national
stadium tumbling and not even the legendary Roger Millar could disregard
what his eyes were seeing.
“Quite frankly these players have disproved so many things in
Cameroonian football so far and I must admit that my club is privileged to
have them”, Tonnerre President Essomba Eyenga told GLOBAL FOOTBALL OF
CAMEROON . The President has meanwhile expressed his confidence in the
Liberian pros and is also sure that Tonnerre would profit from their
exploits just as they did with King George Weah.
According
to Clarence Lee Chea, the Administrative Manager of Francis Doe and Ben
Teekloh, a one year loan deal has been struck between Tonnerre Klara Club
and Buduburam FC of Ghana on a 50-50 basis in case of a higher signing of
any of the players making use of FIFA Regulation Four governing the trade of
players.

solicited to recommend several other Liberian players by top clubs in
Cameroon said, Roger Millar himself in awe of the dexterities demonstrated
by the players and admitted that Liberia is a mainstay of good players.
“In fact, Josphat Ndouram, the reconnoiter of AS Monaco of France ,
will be in Cameroon to watch mostly Francis Doe against Etoile du Sahel of
Tunisia in the second leg of the CAF Cup for a possible contract in Europe
,” Mr. Chea confided. The first leg is scheduled for Saturday in Sahel ,
