As Liberia’s third Qualifiers match with Ethiopia in Adidas Ababa draws faster, pessimisms are being expressed as to how well the team will flicker in this dicey encounter.

The reasons for such apprehension however, stem from the rough-edged attitude of those to whom the handling of Liberia football has been assigned. While Ethiopia is preparing feverishly, Liberia is on the extreme haggling over who takes the giant share of $58,000.00 secured from CAF.

This repulsive stance, which contributes chiefly to the team ominous display, has the predilection of dwindling Liberia’s chances of qualifying for its third ANC. But as though Liberia football Administrators belong to the “Bully Ecstasy” where individual enrichment far surpasses the overwhelming importance of the team, the recompense of $58,000.00 has left them shredded.

With few days left, there aren’t reports that some of the foreign players selected have received the tickets. But this seems needless to the team officials who are willing to reallocate blames each time the team fails to deliver the needed results.

Already, most of the foreign players selected aren’t flashing in their respective Leagues, preparing them with the local outfits should have been stressed.

Liberian clubs are barred from CAF Competitions, but nothing bothers them as shoplifting funds intended for the sustenance of Liberian football.

Lone Star being the only team, which doesn’t play friendly or better still trial matches, the early hoarding of the players could have helped the Coaches formulate plans and blend the pieces.

But whatever these officials envisage for Liberia’s football, a football match lasts for 90 minutes and they should bear it in mind that time is closing their stretches with the team.

A many people have come and gone, but Liberia never fades out, therefore they can do whatever they choose as faith will determine who stays on.
