LFA has failed again to appoint a new Secretary General

by Horatio Bobby Willie

Reports reaching LiberianSoccer.com say executives of the Liberia Football Association have again failed to appoint a new secretary General.

It followed what a source at the LFA said was a major disagreement
among executive committee members.

The LFA Executives according to our source did not reject the new person nominated by their president for the position but asked for more time to examine his credentials.

LFA President Cllr.Izetta Wesley nominated John Rufus Ballah for the post. Two other nominees have been rejected by a group of eight executive committee members.

Star Radio also gathered that the confusion and disagreement that rocked Thursday’s meeting was due to the under strength of the group who have been rejecting the other nominations. A decision on a new Secretary General would now be made next Thursday.
