The Liberia Football Association says it was not a part of
preparation for the Liberia versus Equatorial Guinea Nations Cup
qualifier.
LFA President Cllr. Izetta Wesley said the group was not aware of
how much was received by the sports ministry for the game.
Cllr. Wesley said the group was not also aware of technical and
travel arrangements for the game.
She warned that the LFA would withdraw from activities of the
national team if the Ministry of Youth &Sports repeat such attitude.
Cllr. Wesley threatened the LFA would inform FIFA and CAF about
their exclusion from activities of the Lone Star.
She however disclosed the LFA Executive Committee current decision
on the Lone Star issue was for the team to play.
But an official at the Sports Ministry said the LFA was a part of
the planning and preparation for the game.
Assistant Sports Minister Murphy Gray said the Football House was
part of every activity of the Lone Star.
