Hold 12th Ordinary Congress in Kakata

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has disclosed that it will hold
its 12th Ordinary Congress in Kakata, Margibi County.
The Congress will commence from 17-18 March 2006 on the B.W.I
Campus.The football family will elect a new corps of executive
committee members as well as revise the status of the FA.
Meanwhile, the LFA has released the guidelines governing the upcoming
Congress.
According to the guidelines, all candidates seeking elective posts
should forward in writing to the office of the General Secretary their
letter of application two months prior to the holding of the Congress
in keeping with provisions of the LFA statutes, Article 5, Sections
5.8, 5.9 and Article 6, Section 6.1 (b) of the amended statutes of the
LFA regarding membership to the executive committee.
The guidelines details that application must be forwarded to the LFA
Secretariat and must be accompanied with the relevant fees.
Registration fees for people applying for the post of president is
US$500 while Vice President applicants will be paying US$300. Those
vying for the position of Executive Committee Members will be paying
US$150. Applicants will be allowed to send their Resume with one
recent passport size photo.
Registration, which is already in progress, will end on January 18,
2006 at 6: 00pm.
