LFA Renounces Transfer and Free Agent Fees

The president of the local football house has ordered the suspension of Lfa share of transfer and free agent fees with immediate effect.

Making the disclosure Tuesday, Musa Bility said the LFA is constrained to stress to limits to meet and tone down the financial striking state of most Liberian football clubs.

However, the president instructed that “the collection of our share of all transfer fees will resume during midterm of the 2nd phase of the league”.

The national Cellcom league is now in its second round of matches across the country. Some clubs are struggling to meet with registration requirements.

The financial anguish has even resulted into a few teams forfeiting the first round of matches.
